There is a price point where I’m ok with losing games ($5ish). The only reason I bought a lot of stuff on PSN was cheap vita games. I try to buy steam indies more than PSN/XBOX/Switch. Pointing out the competition’s bad behavior doesn’t absolve Nintendo of wrong doing imo. I would say of the console gaming space MS is currently the least offensive to me. So yeah, Virtual Console had its highs and lows but overall I definitely got my money’s worth out of the service the last 11 or so years. #CONTRA REBIRTH 240P SERIES#

BR-W9 responded to this threat by offering him to become allies, to which Plissken apparently accepted. Once this was taken care of, fellow Contra commando Newt Plissken unexpectedly threatened her at gunpoint, revealing that he was actually non other than Chief Salamander, the leader of Neo-Salamander.

After the Neo-Salamander army was defeated, and following her programming, BR-W9 proceeded to put "Bill" back into cryostasis. BR-W9 then sent "Bill" on a mission to stop this threat along with fellow combatant Yagyu Genbei. BR-W9 then played him a video message from the Galactic President, where the mandatary explained that the planet was under attack from an alien army known as the Neo-Salamander Force, which traveled back in time to the year 1973 in a campaign to annihilate the Contra Force of that era with their superior firepower. This individual, however, was presumably a clone of the real Bill, as he did not know anything about his past or even who he was. BR-W9 was given the task of awakening " Bill Rizer" from cryogenic stasis.
